In Gdynia, the Polish Association of Private Hospitals celebrated its 20th birthday. The celebrations are accompanied by a meeting in the form of discussion panels in which the leaders of the Polish health care sector exchange their experiences and ideas regarding modern management of health care facilities.
President of the management board of Iplusmed sp. Z o. O. – Maciej Matłok, MD, PhD represented our company as an expert during the panel “Private hospitals sector – leader of innovative technologies”.
After years of changes and constant investments, Polish private hospitals play an increasingly important role in ensuring access to medical services for an increasingly larger group of Poles, but also citizens of other European countries, who choose them based on the high quality of services provided and a favorable price. Among the highest rated health care facilities in Poland, the share of private entities is growing.
The challenges faced by private medical entities also include the necessary investments in renovation, reconstruction, expansion, but also the construction of new units. In order for the investment process to run efficiently and within the budget, the key is to carry out design works by specialists with experience in designing health care units. Undoubtedly, Iplusmed, with its extensive portfolio of projects that have already been implemented, is such a partner – said Maciej Matłok.
The Polish National Association of Private Hospitals, which has been operating for 20 years, brings together over 150 health care centers from all over Poland, participates in legislative work on changes in the health care system and building close cooperation in the field of hospital management forms and exchange of mutual experiences among its members.
